SUMMARY

Join S/Y Mahayana in an unforgettable one-way trip from Phuket to The Surin Islands & Koh Phayam. Travel the length of Thailand’s west coast from Phuket to Ranong, where Thailand meets Myanmar. During this Catamaran charter, there will be plenty of opportunity to experience some fantastic sailing, dive into some crystal-clear waters and snorkel with some of the most pristine reefs available around the Surin Islands National Park. It won’t be uncommon to bump into the local inhabitants either, be it Manta Rays or Whale Sharks.

Thailand’s west coast is largely uninhabited – making for a spectacularly peaceful view to take in as you sail past. Scattered with numerous long white sandy beaches and surrounded only by lush rainforests – the perfect place to sit back and relax.

In Koh Phayam, you can sit back and relax in this forgotten little hideaway. Take a dip in one the many sheltered bays, take a walk along the untouched beaches, or simple sit back and enjoy a cocktail at one of the few beach bars available. It’ll be like stepping back in time, and a time you’ll wish never ended.

As this trip finishes in Koh Phayam, you’ll need to get a taxi boat back to the mainland, where you’ll arrive in the town of Ranong. From there, you’ll have the option to take a bus, plane or taxi to your next destination. But fear not, we’ll help you with all travel arrangements. It’s also a great way to see another part of Thailand which is off the beaten track!
